Hello, Foodies! Time is passing by very quickly and it's time to start third KitKat battle! Today we will mess around with very unusual, rum and raisin flavour. So... let's try!
As you can see on the packaging, rum and raisin flavour is Tokyo area limited. Single bar contains around 0,06% of alcohol and it's said that it can't be consumed by children. Well... mixing rum with raisins isn't typical for me, but I can't find any "roots" of this flavour. If you try to google a little bit, you'll find only these wafer bars and a few recipes.
What about the taste? After the first bite, raisin flavour punches you brutally in the face. And it's not good, especially if you - same as me - don't like raisins. When you get used to sweet raisins with white chocolate, you find soft aftertaste of rum. But after a while it's killed by overdone sweetness. I can picture it like this: "rum, rum... I almost catched ya... and again these (&#&@($ RAISINS!".
These bars are definitely too sweet for me. I expected "more rum in rum", not luscious white chocolate with dried grapes. Such a disappointment!
The grade is not that bad because of this KitKat's unique flavour and good quality. After all, it tastes precisely like raisins with rum, not like rum candies I tried before which tasted like something chocolate-like with touch of undefined alcohol.

Hello. Veti here and today is drinking time...!
...or almost drinking time because we have Rum & Raisin Kitkat. And this sweet's taste is delicate, very unusual and sugary with just a hint of alcohol in it. I had a hard time locating the taste of raisins in this Kitkat and I'm glad I didn't find it.
This product of Nestle is very tasty for me. Good word to describe it, is "melty". Tasty Rum & Raisin Kitkat gets from me yoroshi grade, 7 out of 10.
