Kracie - Popin' cookin' jelly set

Do you remember sweet time of childhood, when adults hardly tried to teach us to not play with food? I always played with food in my childhood, organised tea meeting for my toys, made dishes with sweets etc. Popin' Cookin' sets let you play like this... in real world.

Popin' Cookin' sets are kind of japanese sweets I always wanted to try. I was interested by YouTube movies about them. People who make mini-arts with huge precision... wow! There are a lot of Popin' Cookin' sets, like sushi, fast food or cake ones. I tried my best with jelly set.

 Packaging

When  we open package full of colorful, japanese signs (I like it!), we can see small cutters with fork, one big sachet and three smaller ones, something like pipette and plastic box to make jellies.

After few minuts I figured out, that in big sachet you can find "main" powder and you have to put it in the biggest compartment in the box. To the four smaller ones you have to put a little water and contents of other sachets. Round compartments are for mixing the colours.

Well done.

 Novelity

When the set is ready, we use the cutter in "main" powder and just put pigments inside. Our shape congeals magically and now it's like a jelly!

Making jellies by myself is big fun. Especially when the set turns out to be so small for my and Cinek's hands. It was a challenge! Finally, after a dozen or so minutes of laughing we made... something.

Wow, I'm impressed. You can't buy anything like this in Poland, so it deserves even more from 5 in this point:

It's our "art". Maybe it's not as perfect as japanese arts, but I hope it's not so bad at all...
Undefined shape at the left side of the photo is made with oddments.

 Taste

At the end, few words about taste. Jellies are so funny to make, they are colorful, but they... taste like nothing. I mean... they try to be grape flavored, but they suck at it. After eating I nauseated. I thought it will be one of my favourite sweets set, but it failed in the most important thing...

...but after all, I would buy it for children to play. And of course, I would play with them. ^^'
